The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry is seeking an adjunct faculty member to join its esteemed team in the Department of General Dentistry. Role Overview

This role will provide teaching, leadership, and patient care responsibilities, fostering transformative learning experiences for pre-doctoral students and residents. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of dental practitioners, equipped to meet the evolving needs of their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach practice management and running highly productive practices to 75-100 pre-doctoral students and 4-5 general practice post-doctoral residents.
  • Provide clinical and didactic teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, and patient care services.
Requirements
  • A DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for a dental license in Virginia.
  • Strong leadership skills and extensive dental clinic experience.
  • Expertise in dental practice management and ability to teach practice management through clinical and didactic experiences.
  • Commitment to mentorship and creating a humanistic environment of learning.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to change and embracing modern technology.
  • Ability to contribute to a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
