Switching and Transloading Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Rail Loader Technician to join our team at Petroleum Service Corporation, An SGS Company. This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of railcars, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

The successful candidate will have experience in industrial rail loading and unloading, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent communication skills to ensure seamless interactions with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of railcars before transfer to identify any potential issues
• Load and unload railcars efficiently, using specialized equipment and techniques
• Monitor and record railcar weights and perform necessary documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure seamless communication and coordinate railcar movements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset
• At least one year of experience in industrial rail loading and unloading or a related field
• Valid Driver's License and/or TWIC card may be required, depending on the work location
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Pass a drug screen, physical examination, and background check

Compensation:

$26.00 per hour, with opportunities for annual increases based on performance and experience.
