Job Title: Assistant Bookkeeper

NHC HealthCare Anderson is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including cash receipts and disbursements.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Collaborate with the Business Office Manager and Administrator to achieve financial goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and staff.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Microsoft Office and Epic.
