Performance Health is in search of a Vice President of National Accounts to lead our strategic initiatives. This role involves collaborating with the leadership team to develop effective contracting strategies that foster sustainable growth. The success of this position hinges on exemplary leadership that maintains a sharp focus on key customers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and major chain clients, ensuring that Performance Health products are effectively contracted to enhance customer engagement.

Building and maintaining relationships is crucial in this role. The VP will guide their team to cultivate and leverage these relationships to execute the overarching strategy successfully.

Contract Lifecycle Management is a vital aspect of this leadership role. Utilizing data analytics, the national accounts operations team will oversee pricing structures linked to customer purchasing compliance, alongside managing fees and rebates. GPO contracts play a significant role in pricing our products across various market segments and have a substantial financial impact on the organization. Additionally, this team will collaborate with the finance department to model contracting alternatives for both new and renewed agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Secure essential GPO contracts and renewals
  2. Achieve or surpass annual revenue objectives
  3. Develop and implement the GPO and OPR chain growth strategy
  4. Formulate a sales engagement strategy to enhance contract compliance
  5. Provide strategic leadership to elevate the national accounts framework
  6. Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, leveraging sales and marketing efforts
  7. Establish and nurture long-lasting customer and influencer relationships
  8. Plan and execute industry tradeshows and events
  9. Design and implement launch strategies for new products
  10. Oversee GPO compliance processes to ensure targeted growth
  11. Develop and maintain annual revenue forecasts
  12. Address pricing violations and unauthorized activities within the customer base
  13. Create and execute promotional programs to stimulate demand
  14. Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline
  2. Over 10 years of experience in healthcare sales, particularly in national accounts
  3. Strong business acumen with a proven track record in leading national accounts teams
  4. Demonstrated success in meeting revenue targets
  5. Extensive experience in GPO Management
  6. In-depth knowledge of GPO operations
