Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for delivering a full range of nursing care to our residents, including medication administration, monitoring resident care, and maintaining confidentiality of resident care information. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
  • Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents
  • Conducting daily rounds to observe resident physical and emotional status
  • Medication administration
  • Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all resident care information
  • Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment
Requirements:
  • LVN/LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
  • Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
  • Behavioral care/memory care experience
  • Experience with Point Click Care (PCC)
