Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PIT Operator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for moving inventory, picking, consolidating, and putting away stock. If you have excellent communication skills, a flexible attitude, and a self-motivated approach to work, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly operate Lift Trucks - Stock/Cherry Pickers.
  • Complete the Order Picker checklist and ensure the pallet is on forks before lifting.
  • Ensure the battery level is not below 25%.
  • Ensure the safety harness is in good condition as well as the lanyard.
  • Safely pick up pallets from staging locations.
  • Put away items. Documenting their locations with Accuracy.
  • Practice Safe material handling.
  • Count pieces put away and compare them with the scanner.
  • Ensure the items put away match with current stock.
  • Make sure that each item has a label.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the work area at the end of the day.
  • Meet the expectation quota.
  • Help other departments if needed.
Requirements
  • Intermediate interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Self-motivation and a determination to succeed.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Detail management.
  • Availability to work the necessary hours to deliver high-quality output.
  • A clean and organized work area.
  • Willingness to work extended hours (Overtime) when needed.
  • Goal-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to safely operate stock/cherry picker.
