We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Control Specialist to join our team at 21 Air, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising line station mechanics, researching and distributing technical instructions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Line Maintenance Management: Manage and supervise line station mechanics performing routine and non-routine maintenance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Technical Research and Distribution: Research approved sources and distribute technical and operational instructions to line maintenance personnel.
- Maintenance Status Updates: Complete the Work Order found in Silver Wings and notify System Operations Control of maintenance status of the aircraft.
- Minimum Equipment and Configuration Deviation List Management: Receive, record, and approve (if applicable) requests to assign Minimum Equipment, Configuration Deviation List, NEF, and MCO control numbers to aircraft, ensuring compliance with requirements for MEL/CDL deferral.
- Deferred Item Tracking: Record all applicable data and enter the deferred items into the tracking system, ensuring timely action is taken to correct inoperative MEL/CDL and other deferred items.
- Part and Supply Expediting: Expedite requests for parts, supplies, and technical assistance in support of line maintenance.
- Operations Liaison: Maintain liaison with Operations personnel to schedule and expedite clearing of deferred items, performing required maintenance, and repair while maintaining schedule.
- Delay and Maintenance Reporting: Research and record data for delay reports, maintenance reliability, in-service reports, and other unscheduled maintenance events.
- Aircraft Return to Service: Provide estimated time for return to service for out-of-service aircraft and the status of deferred items.
- Log Sheet and Document Review: Review log sheets and other work documents as received to ensure they are complete and accurate for the maintenance performed prior to aircraft release.
- Shift Turnover and Continuity: Provide necessary information to on-coming controllers on a 21A-MF-22, shift turnover report, and annotate any period without Maintenance Control coverage.
- Maintenance Department Contact Information: Maintain maintenance department contact information.
- Winter Operations Support: Assist the Flight Follower with aircraft requirements when the Winter Operations plan is implemented.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed in other company manuals, such as the Fueling and CASS Manuals.
- Managerial Support: Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Manager, Maintenance Control.
