Job Title: Quality Inspector

At ECS (Equus Compute Solutions), we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our computer hardware and software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and tests on computer components, assemblies, devices, and systems to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Use BOMs, assembly instructions, procedures, checklists, deviations, drawings, etc. to perform inspections.
  • Examine the alignment of parts and verify installation of hardware on assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Accept or reject inspected material/product based on conformance to acceptance criteria.
  • Record and maintain inspection data on appropriate forms, logs, and/or in computer database.
  • Assist in the maintenance of controlled document files and test records.
  • Follow and enforce all ESD process and procedures.
  • Conduct periodical ESD testing for carts, mats, and workstations.
  • Recommend and implement quality improvement methods.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write effectively.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.
  • Ability to write basic reports.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and general computer usage.
  • Experience in using Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gauges and Analog Surface Resistance Meters.
  • ERP system knowledge is a plus but, not required.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay range: $19/hour - $25/hour
