Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient transportation of our products to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of drivers and transportation associates to ensure timely and safe delivery of products
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and training programs to minimize accidents and injuries
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to optimize routes and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve delivery issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Proven track record of improving safety and reducing costs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Work Environment
