Position Overview

Seabury is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our esteemed continuing care community. Our nursing team is rewarded for their commitment and care, with competitive hourly rates ranging from $40 to $46, along with additional differentials for shifts and weekends.

Shift Differentials
  • 2nd Shift: +$2.00/hr
  • 3rd Shift: +$4.00/hr
  • Weekends: +$2.00/hr
Current Opportunities
  • Full-Time: 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, 32 hrs/week, Monday to Friday with alternating weekends
  • Part-Time: 3rd shift, 11:00pm-7:30am, various weekdays/weekends
  • Part-Time: 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, every other weekend

Qualifications

Education: Must possess a valid State of Connecticut license as a Registered Nurse.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in long-term care, preferably with elderly patients. Familiarity with nursing home regulations at the federal, state, and local levels is essential.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
  • Ability to engage with elderly residents in a respectful and supportive manner
  • Competent in using medical equipment such as lifts and mobility devices
  • Physical capability to lift and carry moderate weights and stand for extended periods
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
