Overview

Texas Oncology is a leading provider of cancer care services, seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Dallas. This role will support our imaging services, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT and MRI procedures with precision and attention to detail, achieving high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine the appropriateness of additional or modified studies.
  • Escort patients to treatment rooms, assist with dressings, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Develop and process radiologic films, log procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Conduct daily quality control measures to monitor machine performance and report any malfunctions.
  • Arrange preventive maintenance and follow safety protocols when operating equipment.
  • Order, log, and return outside films as needed, completing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and medical staff information.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum three years of experience as a CT/MRI Technologist.
  • Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required.
  • Current IV and CPR certifications required.
  • Certification in CT and MRI preferred.
