We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques.
- Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment and improve patient outcomes.
- Be accountable for your performance and take initiative for your professional growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
- Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technologist Program.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (ARRT) or NMTCB.
- Texas Department of State Health certification.
- At least 1 year of work experience in nuclear medicine.
