Job Title: Audit Manager

At Spartan Placements, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage teams to achieve performance expectations and drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Employee Benefit Plans and their complexities.
  • Monitor and improve utilization rates, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing profitability.
  • Contribute to the sales and proposal process, leveraging knowledge of client targets and firm initiatives.
  • Actively participate in recruitment efforts, including career forums, interviews, and candidate engagement.
  • Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities and resources to meet assignment objectives.
  • Provide team direction to ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage assignment budgets, anticipate and communicate budget issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Improve realization in client engagements and develop a thorough understanding of tools, systems, and processes.
  • Anticipate and address problems/barriers, developing plans to overcome them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in progressive audit experience in public accounting or related field.
  • Experience and knowledge with Employee Benefit Plans required.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop working relationships and persuade clients.
  • Possesses strong presentation skills and is always alert to opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
  • Actively participates in recruitment initiatives and conducts interviews.
