We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working nights. We require one year of Med/Surg experience, and the ideal candidate will have strong nursing skills and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining accurate records. They will also participate in hospital-wide initiatives, such as quality improvement and service excellence programs.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • One year of experience in Med/Surg, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • A valid Texas RN license or eligibility for immediate licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
