**Job Title:** Nurse Specialist - Medical Unit

Huntsville Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our medical team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). **Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, implementing and evaluating individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, documenting patient data and progress to inform clinical decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Foster open communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

**Requirements:

  • A valid nursing license in the State of Texas is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification is mandatory, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification desirable within 90 days of employment.
  • Proven experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
