Job Title: LPN/LVN - LPN/LVN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a corrections setting. As a LPN/LVN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a healthcare unit, working under the supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, and provide nursing care accordingly.
  • Take vital signs, apply and change dressings, administer medications and injections, and implement medical plans as per physician instructions.
  • Document nursing encounters, patient responses, and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians.
  • Observe, record, and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in patients' conditions.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of recent experience in nursing, with corrections experience preferred.
  • BLS certification and active State nursing license.
