Advanced Practice Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will provide expert consultation and leadership in patient care delivery.
This role requires a Master's Degree in Nursing and three years of clinical experience in the emergency department, focusing on improving care outcomes and implementing best practices. With a strong emphasis on educational support and collaboration, you will enhance nursing practice through research and interdisciplinary strategies.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) demonstrates an advanced level of professional competence in a specialized area of nursing practice. The CNS influences care outcomes by providing expert consultation and implementing improvements in patient care delivery.
Salary Range: $54.43 - $87.63 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation and leadership in patient care delivery
- Develop and implement nursing practice guidelines and protocols
- Conduct research and analysis to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide education and training to nursing staff
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing with clinical focus from an accredited school of nursing
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Three years of clinical experience in the emergency department
