COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The anticipated salary range is $127,800 to $142,000, contingent upon experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. The incumbent will be responsible for making critical technical decisions, possessing in-depth knowledge of their functional discipline and its practical applications, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant industry codes and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver comprehensive technical expertise to develop, oversee, and execute engineering initiatives and programs.
- Offer technical guidance and consultation through direct engagement to identify and rectify equipment and system issues.
- Manage engineering tasks from inception to completion.
- Conduct engineering and technical assignments as directed by supervision, applying fundamental engineering principles.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
- Propose equipment, innovative concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material deficiencies, or comply with evolving codes or regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering Technology) with 6+ years of experience in the nuclear or related industry OR
- A two-year technical degree with 7+ years of experience in the nuclear or related industry OR a High School Diploma with 9+ years of nuclear experience, including a minimum of 1 year as an Engineering Analyst 3.
