Key Responsibilities
  • Design and detail structural steel and concrete systems for building foundations and industrial facilities
  • Develop and implement 3D modeling techniques for building foundations and structural steel
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create accurate and detailed designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements and company standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in structural design and detailing
Requirements
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in civil heavy industry design
  • High school diploma required; college level diploma or related work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling for building foundations and structural steel
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Knowledge of structural steel and concrete design and detailing practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Revit and MicroStation
  • Use of point clouds
  • Experience with brownfield sites and ability to execute projects in existing facilities
  • Architectural design/layout skills for industrial buildings and offices
  • Site plans and layout
  • Grading and drainage
