Job Overview

Sunstate Companies, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and direct a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal facility performance
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
  • Analyze and resolve maintenance-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Monitor and report on maintenance activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of plant maintenance principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of irrigation systems and other facility equipment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications

  • Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
