**Job Summary**

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant/Material Handler to join our team at our Covina Store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized donation area, assisting donors, and ensuring the efficient processing of donations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Maintain and clean up the donation area, including the trailer/pod, at the beginning and end of each shift

• Assist donors in the receipt of donated items and provide excellent customer service

• Separate and sort donated materials into the proper containers and stack them as instructed by the supervisor

• Assist with loading donations onto trucks as needed

• Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out

• Secure and lock the donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift

• Be available for flexible scheduling

**Requirements:**

• High School graduate or equivalent

• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors

• Ability to read and write and understand and follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis

• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance

• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
