Concorde Battery Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Export Compliance Administrator to join our team in West Covina, California. As an Export Compliance Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with U.S. government sanctions and other regulations covering the export of ITAR and EAR controlled goods, technology, and information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Concorde maintains and enforces export compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate imports from suppliers & freight forwarders to ensure compliance and expedient transit.
  • Continually develop and modify export compliance procedures. Train and coach personnel to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly review new export/import related rules and regulations to ensure continued compliance.
  • Maintain Concorde's Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio including Patents and Trademarks. Ensure IP is properly renewed.
  • Apply for new Patents and Trademarks as required with assistance of external counsel.
  • Monitor screening software for potential infringing IP and notify management of potential issues.
  • Take on special projects related to other business activities including managing copier vendors, monitoring product pricing and other activities as required.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years Export Compliance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional work experience.
  • In depth knowledge of export/import regulations.
  • Dedication to excellent attendance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must complete pre-employment physical.
  • Some experience with Patents and Trademarks (preferred)
Work Environment:

This position is in-person at our West Covina facility five days per week. The schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm with limited overtime as needed.
