FirstService Residential New York is seeking a dedicated Energy Procurement Specialist to enhance our team. In this position, you will be instrumental in assisting our clients by evaluating energy markets, negotiating agreements, and uncovering cost-reduction possibilities. Collaborating closely with the Director of Procurement and various stakeholders, you will formulate strategies that serve our clients' interests while mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive energy and utilities strategy tailored for residential associations.
  • Negotiate electricity and gas contracts to optimize costs and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Examine energy trends and regulatory frameworks to pinpoint potential savings for clients.
  • Oversee energy initiatives to ensure achievement of cost-saving objectives.
  • Foster robust relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, or Business is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in energy markets, trading, or contract negotiations.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
