Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Host to join our Food & Beverage team. This dynamic role plays a pivotal part in shaping our guests' experiences from the moment they step into the hotel. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering top-notch service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests warmly and efficiently, presenting menus and specials with a smile.
  2. Treat every guest with courtesy and respect, consistently exceeding their expectations.
  3. Manage the floor plan board, ensuring seamless table management and timely updates.
  4. Maintain accurate records of clean, dirty, and occupied tables, guaranteeing optimal operational efficiency.
  5. Provide clear and concise wait times to guests when tables are unavailable, showcasing your exceptional customer service skills.
  6. Clean, organize, and restock menus at the host area, upholding high standards of hygiene and presentation.
  7. Answer phone inquiries regarding menu items and restaurant operations, demonstrating your knowledge and expertise.
  8. Foster positive interactions with guests as they arrive and depart, creating lasting impressions and encouraging repeat visits.
  9. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, bar, and restrooms, adhering to Sherman Associates' stringent quality standards.
  10. Sweep the foyer and front entrance area regularly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
  11. Fulfill to-go orders promptly, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
  12. Recognize situations requiring management intervention, escalating them effectively and efficiently.

  • A minimum of prior experience in hotel/hospitality or a related service industry is preferred.

Salary

Based on industry standards and market conditions, we estimate the salary range for this position to be between $18.50 and $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
