About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team at Tek Ninjas. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end performance testing for Java-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement performance testing strategies to ensure system capacity, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and performance non-functional requirements (NFRs).
  • Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, and provide tuning recommendations to resolve complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing scripts using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and performance NFRs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance testing and optimization.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as a Performance Test Engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience in JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Expertise in working with AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of Java runtime (JVM) performance, JMX, Garbage Collection, and Thread management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of mobile OSS/BSS systems.
  • Experience with profiling and monitoring tools like Instana, Datadog, Grafana, JConsole, VisualVM, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
