Job Description:
Actalent is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations. The ideal candidate is proficient in patient positioning, equipment operation, and radiation safety.

This role is crucial in producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions while ensuring patient comfort and safety.



Key Responsibilities:

Update patient information in electronic medical records.

Provide exceptional bedside care and explain procedures to patients.

Follow doctor's orders and scan information in picture archiving and communication systems.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment post-exams.

Obtain patient information for fluoroscopy procedures.

Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.

Perform routine Quality Control checks.

Requirements:
ARRT certification

Proficiency in electronic medical records and picture archiving and communication systems

Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations

Work Environment/Shift:

Typical hours:
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays (every 6 weeks)

Collaborate with 7 doctors and up to 5 colleagues on shift at once

Work with a supervisor available for clinical questions
