Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Pediatric Development Specialist. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality OT services that promote functional independence, creativity, and overall well-being in children.

About the Role:

This role will involve conducting screenings, evaluations, and treatment sessions for clients, creating individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and expertise through ongoing training, education, and mentorship programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screenings and Evaluations: Prepare and conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for new clients, using standardized assessments and tools to identify areas of strength and need.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client, incorporating creative and evidence-based interventions.
  • Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients, using play-based approaches and strategies to promote engagement, motivation, and skill development.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and care planning.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in pediatric OT.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Minnesota.
  • NBCOT certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with pediatric populations.

Location:
