Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Donation Center Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries Southern New England Inc. As a key member of our donation center team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our donation centers and providing exceptional customer service to our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accept and process donations from the public, ensuring that all items are properly sorted and stored.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register and process donations, sales, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized donation center, including the sorting and storage of donations.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of donations from vehicles, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
