Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Holiday Station Stores - Workday. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of sales associates, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service, resolving customer issues in a professional manner.
  • Lead and train a team of sales associates, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and transmit daily bookkeeping, invoicing, and gasoline data.
  • Complete daily banking and troubleshoot daily close out and shift sales analysis.
  • Finalize, transmit, and process weekly time and attendance records and payroll.
  • Attend job-related meetings and control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses.
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
  • Develop employee work schedules and complete daily store reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

Work will be performed in a retail store environment with occasional exposure to extreme cold temperatures and occasional noise.

Physical Functions
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour of workday.
