Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all phases of installation and maintenance of the campus ERP financial services modules.
  • Provides custom programming, application analyst support, and consultation services to all financial services teams.
  • Assists in resolving programming/data problems for all financial services teams.
  • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from users regarding errors, problems, or questions about Ellucian ERP system Finance modules and other business-implemented modules.
  • Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
  • Provides project management and leadership relating to implementation activities.
  • Develops, documents, and implements project plans.
  • Provides training and documentation on new and customized programs and procedures to assist professional staff in the operation of the ERP and related third-party software.
  • Evaluates, develops, and provides timely reports to stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software.
  • An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least three (3) years' experience in a related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to analyze problems, create, debug, and document code.
  • Thorough understanding of relational database systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; excellent interpersonal skills with users and strong team-oriented business approaches and practices.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Project management skills related to managing the work of other departmental resources.
  • The ability to develop and manage complex system projects.
