Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Powersports assembly technician to join our team at Scranton Auto Group in Vernon, Connecticut.

This is a full-time, salaried position in the powersports industry, with opportunities for career advancement and growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and prepare new powersports vehicles, including installation of components, fluids, and accessories
  • Perform routine maintenance and service on both new and used vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on powersports vehicles
  • Document all work performed and recommendations for additional services or repairs
  • Communicate with customers and service advisors to provide updates and address any concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures and guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and attend training to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a powersports technician or in a similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with a wide range of tools, including power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
