Drees Homes, a family-owned home building company, is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to join their team in the Dallas Division. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all work in assigned areas, focusing on cost control, scheduling, quality control, customer satisfaction, safety, and general supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly customer calls and maintain accurate communication records
  • Ensure compliance with construction specifications and standards
  • Utilize internal scheduling systems to guarantee timely completion of homes
  • Oversee a quality building process and product, performing formal quality inspections as needed
  • Participate in subdivision and model maintenance, ensuring high standards of performance
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and other safety requirements, promoting a safe working environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing questions and concerns about the building process
  • Set and maintain high standards of performance among subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing residential operations in all phases of the construction process
  • Experience working for a production homebuilder is highly desirable
  • Ability to read and understand plans and construction details, as well as familiarity with residential building codes
  • General residential construction knowledge and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
