Job Summary:

As a Commercial Construction Project Manager with K2 Staffing, LLC, you will be responsible for the successful execution of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate project activities with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

2. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and provide solutions to keep the project on track.

3. Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements, and prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.

4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and quality standards, and identify and address any quality issues or deficiencies.

5. Assist in the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to ensure timely and quality performance, and review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders.

6. Monitor project expenses and track budget performance, assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budget forecasts, and identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering strategies to optimize project costs.

7. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on the construction site, ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and standards, conduct safety inspections and audits, and implement corrective actions as needed.

8. Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers, and prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and other relevant information to project stakeholders.

9. Identify and resolve project-related issues and conflicts in a timely manner, and collaborate with the project team to develop and implement solutions that minimize project disruptions and delays.

10. Assist in the project closeout process, including final inspections, punch list completion, and documentation of as-built drawings, and ensure all project deliverables are completed and handed over to the client as required.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, proven experience in commercial construction project engineering or a similar role, strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and industry standards, and proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent are required. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented approach, problem-solving mindset, and familiarity with project management principles and practices are also required.
