Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair powered industrial equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Hilo batteries.
- Address daily safety inspection failures, including hydraulic hose replacements.
- Respond to emergency repair needs for powered industrial equipment.
- Utilize and generate reports using Total Trax.
- Provide training and certification for Material Handlers.
- Interpret and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Properly use hand tools.
- Operate tool room equipment such as lathes, Bridgeports, and drill presses.
- Adhere to Challenge's safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and troubleshoot root causes of issues.
- Maintain a strong understanding of mechanical processes.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Collaborate as a contributing team member.
- Train and instruct others.
Work Schedule:
This position is a 1st Shift role, typically from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Capable of standing for 8-10 hours daily and physically able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
