As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments, assign diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans in accordance with current scientific research and standards of care.
- Clinical Decision Making: Establish and implement treatment plans, order diagnostic procedures, and monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Education and Professional Development: Contribute to the educational development of staff, patients, and self through role modeling, in-services, and continuing education.
- Leadership and Management: Demonstrate progressive leadership and effective management skills, including the ability to take responsibility for self-development and support a learning environment.
- Education and Credentials: Nurse Practitioner: Doctorate in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice. Physician Assistant: Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training program with NCCPA certification.
- Licensure and Certification: Nurse Practitioner: BLS required, ACLS preferred, current Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio, and current APRN license to practice in Ohio. Physician Assistant: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NCCPA-certified, and DEA license.
- Physical Demands: Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.
50% travel required.
