Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Caregiver/Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will work closely with our Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
  • Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
  • Restock medication inventories.
  • Provide direct patient care, ensuring resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
