About the Role:
Pinnacle GI Partners is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at our Troy and Macomb, MI surgery centers. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during endoscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in the cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of endoscopes and accessory equipment.
- Process equipment with care to prevent damage and maintain quality.
- Restock supplies as needed and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with patient care under the direct supervision of an RN and prepare specimens accurately.
- Administer throat spray and inject saline or dye under the direct supervision of a physician.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Medical Assistant, or Nurse Assistant is highly preferred.
- Current BLS certification and authorization to work in the US.
