Caregiver - In-Home Care - PRN

At the Good Samaritan Society, we're committed to providing high-quality care and services to seniors in a Christian environment. As a Caregiver - In-Home Care - PRN, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
Job SummaryThe Caregiver provides in-home care to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. This may include personal care, administering medication, and providing companionship. You'll work closely with clients to develop a daily care schedule, modify care plans as needed, and report any changes in their condition or needs.
Responsibilities- Assist with personal care, including bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
- Follow a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication
- Ensure the client's home is organized according to their needs and safety measures are in place
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
- Provide mobility assistance, such as helping clients in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair
- Transport or escort clients to medical and other appointments
- Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs
We're looking for a compassionate and patient individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- When applicable, valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle required
