Bioanalyst I

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioanalyst I to join our team at Inotiv. As a Bioanalyst I, you will be responsible for conducting sample analysis, method development, and validation experiments in our state-of-the-art laboratory.

• Perform routine sample analysis using various laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Develop and validate new methods for sample analysis, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Prepare solutions and reagents for use in analysis, maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Process sample results, including instrumental analysis and data interpretation.
• Maintain laboratory supply inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for analysis.
• Enter data into our database, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Interact with colleagues and management, providing updates on analysis progress and results.
• Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biology, or a related field, with at least one year of direct laboratory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related science with at least three years of direct laboratory experience, or
• Five years of direct laboratory experience, or
• Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of GMP/GLP/GCP regulations and ability to apply these practices daily.
• Working knowledge of general laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Ability to use personal computer and various software programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
