Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bioanalyst I to join our team at Inotiv. As a Bioanalyst I, you will be responsible for conducting sample analysis, data interpretation, and basic troubleshooting. You will also assist with method development and validation experiments, as well as general laboratory housekeeping and other departmental tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine sample analysis and data interpretation
  • Conduct method development and validation experiments
  • Prepare solutions for use in analysis
  • Process sample results, including instrumental analysis
  • Maintain laboratory supply inventory
  • Enter data into database
  • Maintain confidential information
  • Interact with the community and employees
  • Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management
Qualifications
  • B.S. in chemistry or biology with at least one year of direct laboratory experience
  • B.S/B.A in a related science with at least three years of direct laboratory experience
  • Five years of direct laboratory experience
  • Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered
Skills and Abilities
  • Good organizational skills
  • Displays versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations
  • Ability to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records and inventory
  • Attitude for quality, eye for detail, and ability to follow written instructions
  • Understanding of GMP/GLP/GCP regulations
  • A working knowledge and awareness of general laboratory procedures
  • Ability to use personal computer and various software programs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
