Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Charge to oversee the assigned nursing unit, supervising Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants. This role requires 3 years of RN experience, preferably in sub-acute care, or previous charge nurse experience, or 2 years relevant leadership experience.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding working supervisory position involving oversight of the assigned nursing unit. As an RN Charge, you will be responsible for covering in the absence or need of Primary Care Nurses, participating in direct patient care by administering medication, providing primary skin care, and assisting in modifying treatment regimen to meet patients' physical and psychosocial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the assigned nursing unit
  • Supervision of Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants
  • Coverage in the absence or need of Primary Care Nurses
  • Direct patient care, including medication administration and primary skin care
  • Modifying treatment regimen to meet patients' physical and psychosocial needs

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 3 years of RN experience, preferably in sub-acute care, or previous charge nurse experience, or 2 years relevant leadership experience
