Role Summary

This is a role that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead a team of retail staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the front-end operations of the store are running smoothly and efficiently, providing a high level of service to customers and maintaining a clean and well-stocked department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, including cash handling, inventory management and visual merchandising. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team of staff.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage the front-end operations of the store, including cash handling, inventory management and visual merchandising.
  • Train and motivate staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor and inventory expenses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve these goals.

Requirements
  • A High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced retail environment.
