Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance 3 professional to join our team at Carmeuse Americas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine equipment inspections and repairs to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct daily visual inspections of equipment and perform repairs as needed.
- Assist with kiln outage work, including refractory work, fabrication of process parts, and welding repairs.
- Operate mobile equipment, including front-end loaders, bobcats, forklifts, and cranes.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance and production employees to achieve common goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documents related to maintenance activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Millwright certification program available for employees who wish to pursue further education.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak professionally with colleagues.
- Math skills required for basic calculations and measurements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
