The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing test and assessment planning for innovative data harvesting and transfer protocols for cloud-based operations at the tactical edge. This position requires a deep understanding of operations research, data analytics, and advanced problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Advanced Operations Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to support the development of data harvesting and transfer protocols for tactical edge cloud-based operations.
  • Design and Implement Mathematical Models: Develop and implement mathematical models, simulations, and analytical techniques to solve complex problems related to data transfer and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with software engineers and data scientists to integrate analytical solutions into practical applications.
  • Evaluate and Improve Existing Protocols: Evaluate the effectiveness of existing protocols and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Perform Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making processes and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Provide Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
  • Prepare Comprehensive Reports and Presentations: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Compliance with DoD Standards: Ensure all analytical methods and processes comply with DoD standards and security requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations research, systems analysis, or a related field, with a focus on data transfer and optimization protocols.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytical software and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, R, or similar.
  • Background in Statistical Analysis and Optimization Techniques: Strong background in statistical analysis, optimization techniques, and simulation modeling.
  • Cloud-Based Platforms and Services: Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to Present Complex Technical Information: Proven ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Travel and Security Clearance: Must be able to travel internationally and work in austere environments. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. equipment containers un-assisted. Clearance: Active DoD Secret (Ability to obtain TS SCI)
