Job Description

Crestview Aerospace is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to support the Estimating and Proposals Department in sustaining and expanding its Program activity.

This position will report to the Senior Manager of Estimating, Proposals & Contracts and will be responsible for developing, planning, and scheduling proposals, as well as coordinating the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.

The ideal candidate will have proficient knowledge of US Government accounting requirements (FAR, CAS, TINA) and experience in managing customers and RFQ processes.

Additionally, the candidate should have strong Excel and data processing skills, as well as the ability to develop, cultivate, and manage relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, plans, and schedules proposals.
  • Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
  • Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
  • Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts.
  • Develops and communicates the strategic, financial, and administrative implications of proposed and/or implemented pricing policy.
  • Develops price recommendations to ensure compliance with policy.
  • Provides input on final pricing contracts.
  • Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
  • Leads or participates in pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
  • Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
  • Recommends positions for pricing and reimbursement strategies for current and future products across all relevant customer and market segments.
  • Supports internal and external audits to include DCMA and DCAA.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proficient in US Government accounting requirements (FAR, CAS, TINA).
  • Knowledge of contract development, Terms and Condition development, and negotiations.
  • Knowledge of complex machining and assembly in the US Defense Industry.
  • Experience at Defense or Commercial Aerospace OEMs in procurement processes.
  • Experience in managing customers and RFQ processes.
  • Solid financial knowledge and understanding of contribution margins and EBITDA.
  • Strong Excel and data processing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop, cultivate, and manage relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, leading, and mentoring.
  • A BS degree with 4 years of experience or related experience equivalent.
  • US Citizen, eligible for security clearance.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as required.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position).
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

Work Location:

  • Crestview, Florida.
  • Remote or hybrid work location is not available.

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment.
  • Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current.
  • Must be able to bend and reach.
  • Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds.
  • Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
