Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Trial Attorney to become a vital part of our legal team. This role presents a unique chance to engage with a variety of intricate cases, including medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation. As a trial attorney, your responsibilities will encompass representing clients in court, managing and organizing caseloads, formulating strategies, and advising clients on their legal rights. This position is ideal for a professional who excels in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and is eager to elevate their career.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients in court or before governmental bodies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
2. Conduct thorough research, interview clients and witnesses, and manage other preparatory details for trial.
3. Draft legal briefs, motions, and other pleadings in compliance with court regulations.
4. Develop litigation strategies, negotiate with opposing counsel, and provide clients with informed legal advice.
5. Handle a diverse range of complex cases, including medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation.
6. Oversee all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery through pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
7. Offer expert legal support, advice, and guidance to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must maintain good standing with the local State Bar.
3. At least 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, specifically in medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation.
4. Proven history of achieving favorable verdicts in court.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
6. Strong research and report writing capabilities.
7. Ability to manage a high caseload and meet the demands of the role.
8. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Proficient in legal research software and MS Office.
