DevOps Specialist for Quantum Instruments

We are Vector Atomic, a company dedicated to developing cutting-edge quantum devices.

As a DevOps Specialist for Quantum Instruments, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative solutions for various applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Automating software development efforts and hardware testing.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop next-generation quantum instruments.
  • Setting up CI/CD pipelines and test server racks for devices-under-test (DUTs).
  • Creating and maintaining automation scripts in Python for interfacing with DUTs and test equipment.
  • Configuring Docker images for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Working with hardware engineers to bring up boards and improve development process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with significant DevOps experience.
  • Compliance with US export control laws.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Docker, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions experience.
  • Linux, Bash, and Python scripting expertise.
  • Test equipment interfacing and remote access experience.
  • Containerization and orchestration knowledge.
