Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Graco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company-owned equipment, including assembly machines, machine tools, and manufacturing assets.
  • Conduct complex testing and repair of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Disassemble and reassemble complex equipment, including electrical systems, Programmable Logic Control systems, hydraulic pumps and systems, gear boxes/transmissions, and pneumatic systems.
  • Adjust or repair fixturing, mechanisms, orientation devices, locating and feeding systems, tooling, machine parts, and process equipment.
  • Read and understand complex drawings and schematics, and consult with outside contacts and companies as needed.
  • Promptly respond to customer maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to determine the course of action.
  • Provide support to Maintenance Mechanic 1 positions and departmental personnel as needed.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and order parts/supplies as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and applicable experience.
  • Associates degree in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, fluid power, robotics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience troubleshooting and repairing complex controls/mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic manufacturing equipment in a high-volume environment.
