Job Overview

American Honda Motor Co. seeks a skilled Maintenance Planner Expert to ensure the efficient execution of work plans and schedules, guaranteeing equipment reliability and optimal departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) capabilities through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to provide reliable information for informed decision-making.
  • Communicate equipment work schedules effectively within the department to meet business objectives and targets.
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and feedback management within CMMS to support informed maintenance strategies.
  • Create and maintain CMMS structures, ensuring all equipment records adhere to Honda standards for precision and consistency.
  • Efficiently manage spare parts linkages for assets to identify correct parts quickly and minimize delays.
  • Schedule and coordinate non-emergency activities, including manpower, parts, equipment, safety, and checkouts, to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
  • Enhance work order planning and backlog management to improve equipment service efficiency and reduce maintenance backlogs.
  • Contribute to the development of equipment preventive maintenance and repair budgets to align with departmental cost targets.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in equipment preventive maintenance programs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize preventive maintenance effectiveness.
Requirements

To succeed as our Reliability Management Specialist, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • 0-6 years of Technical experience in Asset Management or Industrial Maintenance, or other comparable disciplines.
  • Proficiency in MAXIMO (CMMS) System.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong leadership and organization skills, including ability to plan and execute work orders efficiently.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Resource allocation and prioritization skills.
