Curana Health serves seniors across various settings, including assisted living, life plan communities, independent living, skilled nursing, and long-term care facilities throughout the United States.
We currently have openings for experienced Advanced Practice Providers interested in both inpatient and outpatient settings, specializing in palliative care.
- Independently conducts comprehensive history and physical assessments on patients; analyzes and synthesizes data to formulate appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Engages in quality of life discussions with patients and their families, fostering open communication.
- Collaborates closely with care coordinators to ensure timely access to ancillary services.
- Works in partnership with physicians to manage both acute and chronic medical needs of patients.
- Demonstrates proficiency in exercising autonomy in medical decision-making and delivering a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current Board Certification in a relevant Nursing Specialty/Field.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Nursing from accredited institutions is required.
- Prior nursing experience is essential, with preference given to those with experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Provider; however, strong critical thinking skills are a must.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and the application of critical thinking skills in caring for elderly, chronically ill, and recovering residents is essential.
